African American Networking Group
Mission
The African American Networking Group is dedicated to supporting and promoting the continued growth and development of African American employees within the electrical industry. The African American Networking Group empowers everyone, regardless of life experiences. The group participates in awareness and outreach programs through networking and mentorship to support both internal and external communities around PJM.
All employees are welcome to join the ERG for networking, culture sharing, career development and all other activities. The group meets several times a year to work on ideas that have a common interest within the group.
Focus Areas
- Provide support, advocacy, networking opportunities, external outreach and education within PJM
- Promote continued growth and development among all employees at PJM
- Provide mentorship opportunities to the youth
- Provide connections and community volunteer activities
